Hi, my name is Erin. I’m 23 year old. Currently living in the cleanest city in the world, Philadelphia! For the past five years, I have been going to Drexel University, working on completing the accelerated Physical Therapy program. Starting grad school so early has definitely been hard and I am still learning how to balance school, a social life, and working out. But I’ve worked really hard these past few years and I think I’m finally starting to get the hang of making time for all the things I love. If everything goes as planned, this time next year I will be just weeks away from graduating with my doctorate!
I grew up in a small country town in New Hampshire where there was never much to do, so outside of school most of my time was filled by playing sports. When I got into the accelerated program at Drexel I knew giving up sports was a trade-off I had to make. Very few schools offer an accelerated program and even fewer students are accepted to each, however, I wasn’t good enough to play sports at the D1 level that Drexel competes at. However, my love for sports and working was already deeply ingrained in me, so deep that I choose to go into a field that is largely dedicated to it. Prior to college, I basically never stepped foot in a gym on my own. Since that time I have devoted much or my life to working out and learning about fitness. Most importantly, however, I have learned how to change my body into something that I am really proud of rather than something I try to hide. As corny as it is to say that is something that is truly priceless. My goal in starting this blog is to give everyone the tools necessary to be able to transform their body into something that they can take pride in and how to do so in a healthy manner.
I hope you enjoy!
I am now 24 years old and just recently graduated from Drexel with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy on April 15. Shortly after on April 23 I took the national board exam and passed! So, I am proud to say that I am now officially a licensed Physical Therapist!
Just turned 25!! It’s so crazy how time is flying. I am now 8 months into working at my first “big girl job” as an acute care physical therapist at a trauma hospital. About 6 months ago also I ended up getting a PRN job as well at a near by cardiac hospital. I am tentatively planning on starting to teach few courses at a near by university in August! I adopted a pup about five months ago and hes perfect! It amazing how much change has come in just one but I’m hoping there’s more to come!
